Terms of Service

This is a placeholder, not a set of terms. It lists the sections Purly's terms need to cover. No section has been drafted, and nothing on this page creates or describes any agreement between Purly and anyone. The terms will be professionally drafted and reviewed before launch. Do not rely on this page.

1. Who these terms are between

To be drafted. Identify the operating entity and the categories of user the terms bind — seekers, listers, and agents each take on different obligations.

2. What Purly is, and what it is not

To be drafted. State plainly that Purly is a marketplace connecting parties, not an agent, broker, escrow provider, or party to any transaction. This section matters more than usual: money moves off-platform, so the limits of Purly's role need to be unambiguous.

3. Accounts and eligibility

To be drafted. Registration requirements, minimum age, accuracy of information, and responsibility for account security.

4. Listing rules and lister obligations

To be drafted. What may be listed, the requirement that a lister actually holds the rights they claim, accuracy of details and photographs, and the consequences of misrepresentation.

5. Verification and what it does and does not mean

To be drafted. Describe precisely what each verification badge attests to and what it does not. Must match the per-tier explanations shown in the app, and must not imply Purly guarantees any listing or transaction.

6. Prohibited conduct

To be drafted. Fraud, misrepresentation, impersonation, scraping, harassment, and misuse of other users' contact details or documents.

7. Payments and transactions between users

To be drafted. State that Purly processes no payments and holds no funds, that all money moves directly between users off-platform, and that Purly therefore cannot reverse, refund, or recover any payment. Set out the safety guidance users are expected to follow.

8. Moderation, suspension and termination

To be drafted. Grounds for removing a listing or suspending an account, notice given, and any route to appeal.

9. Intellectual property

To be drafted. Ownership of the platform itself, and the licence users grant over content and photographs they upload.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To be drafted. Requires legal drafting — the enforceable scope of any limitation is jurisdiction-specific and must not be guessed at.

11. Governing law and disputes

To be drafted. Governing law, venue, and the process for resolving disputes.

12. Changes to these terms

To be drafted. How changes are notified and when they take effect.
